Ingredients
Pork Chop Suey
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic - crushed
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 500g pork fillet - thinly sliced
- 2 sticks celery - thinly sliced
- 1 onion - diced
- 1 red pepper - thinly sliced
- 1 head broccoli - cut into small pieces
- sesame seeds for garnish
Method
Pork Chop Suey
- In a small bowl whisk together chicken stock, soy sauce, garlic, and cornflour. Set aside.
- Heat the oil in a wok or a large frying pan.
- Add the pork slices and stir fry for about 4 - 5 minutes, or until browned on both sides.
- Remove the pork and pork juices from the wok and set aside.
- To the wok add the celery, onions, red pepper and broccoli. Stir fry for 4 - 5 minutes.
- Stir in the sauce and cook for 1 minute until thickened.
- Add pork and pork juices back into the wok and cook for 1 minute.
- Garnish with sesame seeds.
