Ingredients

Pork Chop Suey

  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic - crushed
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 500g pork fillet - thinly sliced
  • 2 sticks celery - thinly sliced
  • 1 onion - diced
  • 1 red pepper - thinly sliced
  • 1 head broccoli - cut into small pieces
  • sesame seeds for garnish

Method

Pork Chop Suey

  • In a small bowl whisk together chicken stock, soy sauce, garlic, and cornflour. Set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a wok or a large frying pan.
  • Add the pork slices and stir fry for about 4 - 5 minutes, or until browned on both sides.
  • Remove the pork and pork juices from the wok and set aside.
  • To the wok add the celery, onions, red pepper and broccoli. Stir fry for 4 - 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the sauce and cook for 1 minute until thickened.
  • Add pork and pork juices back into the wok and cook for 1 minute.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds.
