Oreo Chocolate Brownie

For the Oreo Chocolate Brownie

  • 120g butter — softened
  • 300g plus 100g cooking chocolate — in pieces
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 24 Oreos broken into pieces


For the Oreo Chocolate Brownie

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan bake).
  • Line a 20 x 20cm baking pan
  • Place the butter and first measure of chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in the microwave until they are melted, stirring every 15 seconds.
  • Add in the sugar and mix well.
  • Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after adding each egg.
  • Add in the flour and stir until no lumps are visible.
  • Pour half the brownie batter into the baking pan and top with half of the Oreos.
  • Pour the remaining batter into the baking pan.
  • Top the mixture with the remaining Oreos and the second measure of chocolate pieces.
  • Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out with a few fudgy crumbs.
