
Cake Pops

- Left over cake cuttings / cupcakes or store brought cake mix

Cake pop sticks

Buttercream icing or store brought icing

Sprinkles / decorations of choice

White chocolate

Food colouring
Instructions

- Using your hands, rub the cake mixture until it turns to fine crumbs
- Make up the butter with an electric or stand mixer for 5 minutes until fluffy, gradually add the icing sugar 1 tablespoon at a time until the mixture comes together to form a fluffy buttercream
- Mix the buttercream into the cake crumbs (add buttercream one tablespoon at a time to avoid the mixture being too wet)
- Once at a sticky consistency, roll the cake mixture into balls
- Melt the white chocolate and dip the end of the cake pop sticks into it, then press into the cake pops
- Allow to set in the refrigerator
- Once the cake pops are set, melt the white chocolate in a microwave safe cup or bowl (try to use a mug or a deeper dish so you can submerge the cake pops completely into the chocolate)
- Add food colouring to the chocolate, allowing any excess chocolate to drip off and place on the parchment paper
- Add sprinkles or decorations and transfer to the refrigerator to set for an hour
- Enjoy!
