Welcome to the February edition of The Tangleby Recipe, Garden and Kids' Club.
I feel like I have started the year with a bit of exhaustion so after a couple of workdays in Nelson I decided to google my fibromyalgia and come up with a plan.
The Nutri bullet has been purchased with breakfast and lunch including a healthy smoothie. There are lots of berries, mango, banana, spinach, yoghurt, chia seeds and a dose of 'Nutrient Rescue' going into each one. The rowing machine is in use again and I am now taking multi vitamins and iron tablets.
So, I am hoping to update you next month on progress!!
Back to this months' club - my marshmallow pavlova would make a nice treat for Valentines Day and the creamy lemon butter sauce to go with fish is simply restaurant quality.
The Huli Huli chicken in the kids' recipe section is rather delicious too.
It is preserving time of the year again, so I have added in some tips that help me with the oversupply of seasonal fruit and vegetables.
There is an article on topics of conversation to empower women. I spent 25 years being less than impowered in an abusive marriage, so I now embrace being independent and being able to make decisions for myself without punishment.
Happy cooking, gardening, crafting and being the best person, you can be!
