What You'll Need:

1 ½ Tablespoons honey

1 ½ Tablespoons brown sugar

1 ½ teaspoons sesame oil

1 ½ teaspoons fresh lime juice

3 Tablespoons soy sauce

2 Tablespoons water
-
500g beef mince
-
1/3 cup green onion
-
3 cloves minced fresh garlic
-
1 Tablespoon finely grated ginger

2 Cups cooked white rice
Instructions:

In a bowl, whisk together the honey, brown sugar, sesame oil, lime juice, soy sauce and water. Set aside

Heat 2 Tablespoons oil in a pan. Add beef to pan and break it up as it cooks until its crumbled

Allow beef to cook until browned, 2.5 – 3 minutes. Add in the green onion, garlic and ginger

Continue to cook until beef is browned and cooked through, about 2 – 3 minutes

Reduce heat to low/medium and pour in the honey mixture. Let the mixture simmer until thickened, stirring frequently.

Serve with cooked white rice and vegetables of choice
