Seed bombs

Seed bombs

What You'll Need:

  • Coloured card paper

  • Seed mixes

  • Silicone mould (optional)

Instructions:

  • Cut the card paper into small squares and place each colour in separate bowls

  • Submerge the paper in water and allow to sit for 3 hours

  • Place the paper and half the water into a blender and blitz, one colour at a time

  • The mixture should resemble a pulp – don’t worry if all the paper isn’t pulp, you can use your hands to pull apart the remaining pieces

  • Using your hands – rinse out the water and place the pulp back in the bowl (Image 1)

  • Sprinkle the seeds over the pulp and mix thoroughly

  • Press the seed mixture firmly into the silicone mould

  • Alternatively, you can roll the pulp into balls

  • Allow to sit in the sun to dry until the seed bombs are firm

  • Remove the seed bombs from the moulds and allow to dry in the sun until solid

  • Once dry, plant the seed bombs in soil
