Mug chocolate self saucing pudding

What You'll Need:

For the Pudding:

  • Microwave safe mug

  • 3 Tablespoons plain flour

  • 3 Tablespoons sugar

  • 1 ½ Tablespoons cocoa powder

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • 3 Tablespoons milk

  • 2 ½ Tablespoons melted butter or oil

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence

For the sauce:

  • 1 ½ Tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder

  • 3 Tablespoons boiling water

Instructions:

  • In a microwave safe mug, combine the flour, sugar and the pudding measurement of cocoa powder

  • Next, add in the milk, oil and vanilla and mix thoroughly – ensure there is no flour left in the bottom

  • For the sauce - Sprinkle the brown sugar and cocoa powder over the mixture

  • Pour the hot water on top of the brown sugar and cocoa

  • Microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds

Serve with ice cream
